Road to Shangri-La is a powerful documentary short about the misery and mayhem caused by the October 2005 earthquake upon the children of Kashmir. Narrated by Arshad Khan to the poetic writing of Salman Rushdie, the film uses the story of the Pied Piper as an analogy for the earthquake killer that took away the children of Kashmir. It documents the travels of plastic surgeon Talat Chughtai as he treats children with severe head injuries and limb amputations.
